Haemorrhoids??

Hi all, this isn’t really and AIBU but posting here for a quick response as I’m worried!

I had my first baby 12 weeks ago, at the time I had piles which went away quickly and I haven’t had any trouble until this week. For the third day in a row the toilet water has been bright red after a bowel movement with lots of blood on the tissue.

A google search obviously leads you to cancer! Could it be Haemorrhoids this long after giving birth? I don’t have any pain as I did when I had them immediately after giving birth.

I’ll call the doctor next week but am going to spend all weekend worrying now!

Do not google, piles bleed when you are constipated and trying to push. Drink plenty and fibre, you can get cream for them when they get bad.

Almost certainly the piles. Don’t worry. Get some steroid suppositories (Anusol HC is OTC) and that will help.

Add in twice daily fybogel and give it a week.

Call doctor if it’s still a problem then.

I have a flare up about twice a year - it’s horrible.

Plenty of water and fruit. Stop eating bread. What a difference
