AIBU to think that workers are demanding fair wages?

I mean who knows where it will go. But up and down the country people are just not taking on poorly paid front line jobs. And employers are having to pay more. And maybe employees are questioning why their managers are getting paid £50+k plus a year to sit on zoom.

That's the way I'm reading it anyway. Interesting times.

I’ve noticed in some sectors/roles salary is increasing due to supply/demand of the labour market and that’s great if wages genuinely increase. YABU with the comment “sitting on Zoom” getting paid X. You have no idea what stresses, decisions and skills some ‘manages’ have that justifies the salary. Imagine the reverse of that statement.
