PIP Call times.

I've spent up to two hours on the phone and have still not gotten through - I am now over an hour (fourth time of over an hour).

What is the trick to get through to someone???

Keep telling me to phone back at another time as "all people are busy"

Have they just not got enough staff to cope with the workload?

It's infuriating as I have really bad social anxiety and a stutter so it takes a lot to even get to making the phone call.

Also it's regarding a claim I made in MAY.

I feel your pain OP - I'm a benefits advisor for a disability charity and phone the DWP regularly. I rarely get through to the PIP phone line inside an hour. I'd say it's an average of an hour and ten minutes these days. It's not good enough.

THank you for the reply. I got through at 1.46 today but they said it was less as I had to listen to loads of garble first.

Transpires they got my second lot of information in october (was delivered registerd on october 4th) not processed until two weeks ago and it's a three month wait for an assessment...
