To ask what you’re getting your 9-10 year old girls

Just that! It’s that awkward age when they are getting too old for toys but still want to play!

She's asked for one of those larger remote controlled cars. It's meant to be one that can go on bumpy terrain like fields. Should be fun!

She has so many things I thought an experience might be better than more stuff in her room. Still desperately searching for inspiration for a couple of presents for her to unwrap though so will be watching this thread with interest.

DD mainly asked for robux . Other stuff was snoop slime (ridiculously expensive,and always out of stock so got her something similar from the UK), bath stuff(bombs,foams,paints,bubbles), some board games and that's about it.

I added a magic 8 ball just for fun , a table air hockey ,a harry potter 3d puzzle , a harry potter glow in the dark onesie, an interactive glow tshirt and some pigeon related gifts as they're her new obsession.

Posca pens or similar paint pens seem to be a big hit with arty girls that age. She likes drawing and things but we already have it all.

For her bday(next month) my only idea is one of those instax mini polaroid cameras.

Hoping to get some more ideas from this thread.

Roller blades. Also 3d pen which I thought looks good. Other things which may suit, Lego, light strips, lava lamp, bike, scooter, switch, braid making set, gravitax, bean bag.

Barbie Extra, a pogo stick, roller blades, a watch, perfume from Zara, Lego Friends, Olivia Rodriguez CD, Harry Potter tshirt.(Not all from us! This is from wider family too).

Dd10 main present is a TV for her room. She's also getting one of those hoodie blanket things (primark version), a couple of books, bath bombs and a t-shirt.

My dd is nearly 9, I was so stumped this year because she's past the dolls and toys stage but not into more grown up stuff.

All she's interested in is Roblox and writing so I've bought her a Robux gift card, nice stationery, earphones and a couple of board games.
She did mention an instant camera but the photo paper is expensive and I can imagine her wasting it on pictures of her favourite Teddy and many blurred photos of the dog so I think I'm going to get her a mobile phone photo printer (she uses my old one as a camera at the moment).

I'll then get her a proper digital camera for her birthday and teach her how to use it.

DD is 10 and getting a few clothing items she wanted, the Harry Potter astronomy tower to go with her other Harry Potter lego, a bracelet with a charm of a franchise she likes, and an art set. The clothing items she wanted are a bit expensive so she knows she won’t get a lot of ‘toys’ or other type gifts, and she said she wanted the clothes.

She's into mini brands so the supermarket and a mini brand ball. Oodle copy, a huge fluffy blanket from primark, fluffy socks, slippers, pj's, cuddly llama. Slime kit, loads of bits for her stocking, Christmas mug, bath bombs, earrings, plushy watermelon, fluffy diary, pens etc etc etc !!

DD is still very much into dolls and teddies. So she's getting a Barbie, and some other similar dolls. She also would like some art supplies. She's very easy to buy for, thankfully! She's into a lot of different things compared with her older sibling.

My 10 year old is still into dolls so Barbie dream house, and some dolls she also wants a watch and a secret safe diary

My 10yo and nearly 9yo aren't too old for toys - both are getting harry potter lego as part of their present. A Switch will be their main gift, other things are an oodie, potion lights for their bedroom, 3d pen, resin casting kit and uv t-shirts.

Yes it's a tough age and there won't be that large pile of larger boxes under the tree.

So far a new duvet cover, she always covets my winter velvet one so I got her the same.
