Colonoscopy

Hello,

Sorry posting here for traffic I have a colonoscopy tomorrow and I've been drinking chicken broth but I think I've messed up, it says clear broth and the chicken broth is a yellow like dark yellow colour - have I messed it up? Should I cancel it tomorrow now?

The prep is so much worse than the procedure itself. You will poop 💩 lots over a couple of hours. I pace around outside the toilet door to get things moving. Do not I repeat do not leave your house. If you have an ensuite do not even leave your bedroom. There are no limits to the amount of tv your dc can watch today. Do whatever you need to do in order to get through the next 24 hours
Watch tv/ Netflix to distract you. Play some music to distract you. Random fact- there are colonoscopy playlists on Spotify!
Hopefully nothing sinister going on but if there is then the earlier it’s found the better. The pooping itself is not too painful it’s more an intense sense of urgency and when it does come out it comes out with significant force, that you feel as if you’re getting ready for lift off. Hoping that you get the all clear. If you are able to be sedated then plz do so.

Thank you. I'll be having all the drugs on offer which are fentenyl and Midazolam. I am extremely anxious but the pathway nurse has spoken to me lots on the phone and been lovely. She is going to see me in the morning.
I was in London yesterday for my birthday trip and had such a limited choice of food and have a headache already from lack of food. We had a very early start at 4.15am and I didn't get to sleep until gone midnight so I'm tired and don't want to be up all night tonight on the toilet.
Thankfully I have an en-suite and plan to stay in my room all day with Derry Girls on my phone with headphones. Ds will also be glued to a screen all day.
I just keep thinking that I can get through this because I've had 2 home deliveries with dc with just gas and air and been fine. The pain was horrendous in the night though. My poo is already liquid so I think the moviprep will soon work because there's nothing solid in there to start with!
I'm just very scared.
