Stolen the post tile from another thread because I thought it was funny.

On a more serious note, why do posters throw out accusations of drip feeding when they post for advice? When I've posted for advice it's either and not included lots of details
A- Can't he bothered to type out all the details and haven't anticipated every question im going to be asked
B - I'm in a rush heading out somewhere
C - im tired and want to get a quick plus response

So it's unhelpful when ppl suggest drip feeding to make the op look better. The point is - don't jump to conclusions as to why information is provided later on in the post

The alternative view is that some posters embellish or post downright lies which make their original position seem defensible.
