fold down handle. Now I know there is such a thing because I have come across them when I wasn’t looking, but now I’ve realised that the fold down feature is much needed for the people I want to buy it for I cannot find any for love nor money. In this case Google is NOT my friend so I thought you lovely people might be able to steer me in the right direction. TIA.

Shark cordless have fold down handles, not sure about the corded (which are more powerful I believe)

This is my hoover, it's not a fold down handle but it does separate into two halves that clip together for storage. It's very tidy.

I should have mentioned I personally don’t really get on with cordless vacuums. That’s not to say they won’t, but I would prefer plug in if possible.
