Best time of the day to have a massage/facial etc?

Does anyone have a particular time they get a massage/facial done, and any particular reasons?

What time would you book in a massage if you were travelling the next day?

Travelling where and how and what about the travelling is relevant? If I had to be up early for a flight I probably wouldn't bother at all once on holiday! Even if I was traveling for business I'd be too worried about packing/making my flight I wouldn't be able to relax and enjoy it. If I was getting the train in the afternoon to meet friends the next day I'd probably have one in the evening pre dinner and shower the oils the next morning. If I was going by car somewhere would it matter?

My personal choice is always late afternoon/early evening then home to relax a bit more before bed.

I have intuitive massages which are physical but also somewhat therapeutic and I like it in the morning. That way there's a glowy feeling that lifts me through the day.

When I have a facial (includes mini back massage) I tend to have it after I have finished work later in the week and have nothing planned for the evening - my next one is in a couple of weeks time on a Thurs at 6pm - once done I will be going home to relax and I'm planning to be home on the Friday wrapping Christmas gifts - I then out Sat afternoon for a family event

If I was having a massage probably the same sort of timing
