My son has just spent £35 for an xbox game FIFA 22 he thought that he could play on his laptop. Seems he got it wrong 😭. Does anyone know whether and how I can get a refund or make it work on the PC.

Has be bought it digitally or a physical copy? Physical copy of unopened should be able to be send back and I think with digital copies you have a certain amount of time in which to request a refund but will depend where he got it from

Did he order it from steam or the Microsoft store?

BlueEyesWhiteDragon · 28/11/2021 15:06

Digital or disc? If digital where did he buy it from?

Whaleandsnail6 · 28/11/2021 15:06

Has he opened it? He'll need an xbox to play an xbox game on.

If its sealed and unopened, I'd have thought he could take it back for refund.

If he's opened it, could take it to a cex or game who will buy it off him or give him a store voucher.

It was a digital copy. Thanks I have requested a refund from the xbox store. Fingers crossed
My son gets like this where he gets really obsessed about something and makes rash decisions

Glad you got it sorted, regular occurrence here where the kids get ahead of themselves and we’ve had to use the refund request a couple of times

Phew just been refunded the £35. Panic over and lesson learned not to rush hopefully!
