I have been in a relationship with my Bf -(Hate that term ) for 7months now.
He has taken his female friend to the theatre this has cost him £200.
He has not once offered to take me,even to a free museum. I feeling pretty crap tbh. Am I over reacting ?

He's you boyfriend but he's never taken you anywhere? That's weird.

I think it depends on some different factors. I know here theater tickets go on sale well in advance of when the actual show is. Is it possible he bought the tickets prior to you starting to date?

Luredbyapomegranate · 27/11/2021 20:14

You would have to give more info. Do you mean he’s never paid to take you anywhere, rather than you never go out?? If you have a relationship where you split costs rather than alternate, that’s not especially weird. If the theatre was a birthday (or whatever) present for an old friend that seems reasonable - unless he has never bought you a present or something??

The older I get the more I think just fuck off and leave him to it.

It's just ridiculous. You're obviously nothing special to him and someone else is. Don't even take the time to think about it too deeply. Just tell him to go away

oh my lord he doesnt give a shit about your feelings and your way down on his priorty list
tell him to fuck off
you can do a lot better

youcancallmeow · 27/11/2021 20:45

did he ask you if you want to go

SpangoDweller · 27/11/2021 20:56

I’ve definitely bought theatre tickets further in advance than that.

“Taking you [somewhere]”, though. Do you ever suggest anything or are you waiting for him to ask?
