If your neighbour verbally abused and threatened you - but you knew they probably would never act on their words. Would you report this to the police?

Would the police even be interested? Would The dispute go against our home?

I think the police would probably have a word with the neighbour but if you report then it would then need to be declared if selling.

Sorry you are having to deal with that sort of situation, it’s very stressful Flowers

Depends on your situation. If you own the house and are intending moving any time in the next couple of years, I wouldn't report.
Any other situation, yes.

We had an issue with our twat of a neighbour and had to take all of the crap she said and did as we knew we were marketing the house soon. She got worse once she knew we were selling and we ended up calling the police just before we left. They did sod all about the issue, yet turned up every time she phoned them with made up allegations.

I've reported. Ended up with several visits from local police and mediation

Report it online, get it logged that way if anything else happens (hopefully not) it's been recorded

I've recently had a successful conviction for assault and it helped I'd reported absolutely everything
