Been chilling in bed reading for a couple of hours and just looked out the window to see it's snowed! Wasnt expecting this.

It's been snowing on and off here this morning, but not settling. Feels very cold though.

Its been howling all night here in Yorkshire and snow outside looks very pretty but glad i dont have to go anywhere today

We had snow on hills a month or so ago and have a light dusting today (Scotland).

We had a covering this morning here in Leicestershire. It’s melted now, fortunately, as my Mercedes can’t cope with snow.

Over here (Oxford) there was some snow in the morning, but fortunately it didn't settle.

We had a covering this morning here in Leicestershire. It’s melted now, fortunately, as my Mercedes can’t cope with snow.

I couldn't even get up either of the two hills off my estate in any of my previous hot hatches - Golf/Polo GTI, PeugeotSport GTI, and Focus ST. It's ridiculous that my pickup has been of the most use on a suburban estate rather than any of the building sites I go to daily.

Nothing on the south coast except wind!

Northumberland here, snow, wind, grey skies with brief sunshine. Its been like this since yesterday evening. At least the 95mph winds are a bit gentler 25mph. There's a tree through our local pub, fences are down, two friends have lost their roofs (rooves?). Its a stay Indoors stay safe day, apart from the magpies in the front garden feeding while the snow blasts horizontally.

Jealous. Snow is a total pain but I would love to see it here. We live in Cornwall and it hardly ever snows! Just very windy right now!

Quite a bit of snow here - I'm in the edge of Sheffield, fairly high up. And very very windy. Not gone yet.

Parents are in Northumberland and haven't had any power since 8pm last night. They've just had a message to say that it's likely to be off for the rest of the day and into tomorrow, and that it's recommends to wear an extra layer to retain heat!!! Dad managed to get out and buy matches and candles so they can use the gas job and have some light this evening. Mums found every blanket in the house she can.

There's a poor women on her own nearby them and she has a newborn baby and two other children and was desperately asking if someone could help her get matches and supplies so she could boil water. There's also a care home just down the road, their emergency generator was almost out when they last heard around lunch time.

Parents were supposed to be visiting us this weekend but it's had to be cancelled due to the weather.

I'm in the West Midlands too. We went sledging this morning but the roads are pretty much clear now!

I'm near Bristol and both Bristol and Bath have areas with man made snow.

It was trying very hard here yesterday kept seeing tiny white flakes in the air. I'm near Glasgow.

Woke up with a very excited 4yr old that wants to build a snowman. She was telling me it's on the pavement on the road, on the grass, the cars the roofs of houses 😂 Trying to tell her it's not enough to make a snowman she said maybe we cld make a tiny snowman ⛄️ 😂 so cute.
