We are in the Highlands too kept thinking the power was going to go at work today.
One of the children thankfully has heaps of data do we could hotspot off him but we tend to go for head torches and boards games.
One power cut we did end up driving all the way to Inverness for WiFi and hot food until dh could get home and dig the camping stove out to make a cup of tea.

To “get you through”?! It’s just a peer cut. Go to bed, tomorrow when it’s daylight you can read books or deep clean your bathroom. Hours of fun for all.

Just play youtube on your phone . We had a power cut earlier, and I just played a youtube mix.

Its wild. All roads are blocked. Power lines and internet lines are snapped and down.
