This couple should get life

AIBU or should this woman and her partner both get life-sentences for their heinous crimes towards this little boy? I read this article and actually felt physically sick - my blood ran cold.

The reason I'm posting is because there was a report into a shop-keeper observing his skeletal condition the day before his death. I just want to put it out there - please, please, if you do ever find yourself in a situation where you are concerned for a child's welfare, report it. If the sight of a child makes you think twice - for whatever reason - report it. If what you see happening to them makes you so uncomfortable it sticks in your mind - report it. A child's life could just be saved xx

There are lots and lots of threads about this tragic case already OP

Yes, the court case has been going on for a while. You've obviously come across it for the first time; it's a sickening shock, isn't it? Just a word of caution, whatever we feel about it, there has been no verdict yet. If people speculate about it, the thread will be taken down.

But yes, we all have a responsibility to look out for vulnerable people.

Strange there is a saying about it taking a village to raise a child. But where is the one for everyone to protect them too?
Bring back hanging and I will be the first volunteer... Wouldn't even want a wage...
That poor bairn.

Sad
