Constant nose blowing and other noises

I think this should be done in the bathroom etc and not in front of everyone else. I find it disgusting and irritating. I think it's bad manners anyway.
Any thoughts?

It's better than sniffing.
Crack on I say. As long as used snotty tissues are not being left scattered everywhere. That's bad manners.

I have some standards....no toe nail clipping in the front room, no picking your ears outside the bathroom etc....so not mega high but you know....
But nose blowing surely can happen anywhere....doesn't he blow into a tissue?

I’ve never ever heard of anyone going to the bathroom to blow their nose. I think this might be your issue to be honest.

Not bad manners no. some people doing it really frustratingly but its not bad manners and i wouldnt be annoyed if someone blowed there nose in front of me

If you have a cold, or even if you haven't, you can't be expected to go to the toilet every time you blow your nose or cough.

I don’t think blowing your nose is bad manners, it is better than sniffing, now that is annoying. Never heard of anyone going to the bathroom to blow their nose.

Blowing your nose is fine. Sniffing constantly is rude.

I much rather someone blow their nose that sniff. I can't stand the noise of someone sniffing.
But no I have no issue with someone blowing their nose in public and it is certainly not something I'd expect someone to go to the bathroom to do.

Hate sniffing, would much prefer they blow nose. As long as not leaving tissue lying around I see no issue.

As for other noises burping, farting also OK at home if needed (ie not forcing it to be annoying). Would go to bathroom or wait if outside my own home though.

What about people at work unable to leave and go to the bathroom?
Teachers are certainly not allowed cover to go to the loo and leave a class unattended in lessons. Should schools pay for a day's supply cover so staff can be covered for nose blowing.

Come on OP - where are you and who is the culprit? What are these mysterious "other noises?"

If I have a cold that is so heavy I am having to commit to "constant nose blowing" then I would not be out in public. I certainly wouldn't think I had to spend my day in my own bathroom to avoid offending any family members though.

YABU. If it is their house too they should be allowed to blow their bloody nose. I am disabled. There is no way I'd be blowing my nose anywhere than where I was sitting.

It's almost as bad as the thread where people think you should go to the bathroom to fart! Madness
