I love the parents
I love that they don’t give her silly eyelashes or gendered accessories
I love that it always has a really heartwarming message and a lot of laughs too.
It makes the early morning slog a bit better!

We love Bluey in our house too. We've discovered a load of new episodes on Disneyplus as well. The swimming episode is my favourite "boring things are important too". It just typifies our house!

OrchidPetalsFalling · 25/11/2021 08:07

I really need Disney +!
It’s just so refreshing after all the paw patrol and go getters stuff

I love bluey more than my kid does !

Awww biscuits!

GlumyGloomer · 25/11/2021 16:01

I too love watching Bluey, but recreating the games...
Magic Xylophone and Daddy Mummy Robot are just about doable, but Trains and Bad Mood are virtually impossible. Oh, and Tickle crabs. My kids have not got the hang of tickling yet and their hands feel like tiny rakes...
It definitely undermines my insistence that many things are more important than pretending games.

yknaps · 25/11/2021 16:03

I have the song from the Fruit Bat episode playing on a loop in my head most days! (And I don't mind because I love it! Grin)

SugarlumpsesBumpses · 25/11/2021 16:03

It's amazing YANBU

MamaBearThius · 25/11/2021 16:05

We are MEGA bluey fans in this house
I try to channel my inner Bandit and just have fun (that's why the kitchen is such a state but meh!)

SkunkButRug · 25/11/2021 16:19

Bloody love Bluey although my youngest is probs at least a year too old for it Blush

mummabubs · 25/11/2021 17:43

Literally watching it now 😂 When DH takes our son to preschool in the morning if Bluey is still on cbeebies I keep watching it even after they've left. I love the emphasis on creativity and play and how they don't shy away from difficult themes in life. It's actually been helpful for exploring things with our son, especially since his younger sister came along and he now has to share a lot of time and resources. Fricking love Bluey.

Danikm151 · 25/11/2021 17:44

I love it but if I have to watch the tooth fairy episode one more time i’ll go crazy. Cbeebies needs to mix it up 🤣

SpangoDweller · 25/11/2021 17:44

I love Bluey, although [dons hard hat] they are waaaayyy too indulgent of her at times

mummabubs · 25/11/2021 17:45

And definitely get Disney+ if you can afford it, there's a whole second series you're currently missing out on! (Although those eps are edited for the American audience. My son is really peeved that they edit the horse in Markets so that it doesn't poop after Bluey tells her she's beautiful). 😂🤷🏻‍♀️

icebearforpresident · 25/11/2021 18:40

I love Bluey. I was looking for something to watch on Disney+ a few weeks ago and just ended up watching Bluey for a good hour. This was at least 2 hours after the kids went to bed.

Hammerbarn is my favourite episode, purely for the line ‘thats’s what happens when you’re unhappy with what you’ve got, someone’s husband eventually gets it’.

steff13 · 25/11/2021 19:20

I love Muffin. The episode where she misses her nap is my absolute favorite. "I am a llama eating a banana!"

ThatDreamSheep · 25/11/2021 19:23

Love Bluey. Have most of the toys coming for Christmas. My 5 year old walks around saying 'oh biscuits' and the 2 year old tells me she's in a bad mood and runs to her dad's feet!

ThatDreamSheep · 25/11/2021 19:24

I have said this, why don't they just say they are too busy to play. Although my hubby did point out it would be a rather boring kids programme!
Hertsgirl10 · 25/11/2021 19:25

We love it and the Dad id hilarious.

Hertsgirl10 · 25/11/2021 19:27

@ThatDreamSheep

Can you imagine the show watching the mum & dad being busy 😂😂

Coronado2 · 25/11/2021 19:30

I watch Bluey without the children sometimes and a tactical wee has now become a thing in our house Grin

mommybear1 · 25/11/2021 20:37

@OrchidPetalsFalling takeaway episode is the best I can watch it alone and properly belly laugh 😂

HeyMicky · 25/11/2021 20:44

I adore it. Mine are really too old for it but still enjoy watching - I fully encourage this.

I love how mum just goes to work or out for a run and there's no drama over who will look after the children. I think school is perfect and Bluey's teacher is pretty smart. I think the relationship between the sisters is beautifully observed. The lessons are gentle but always apt. I love the boring episodes, like the Chinese takeaway - it's like an animated Seinfeld.

I'm unashamedly a massive fan

Montecristocount · 25/11/2021 20:47

The episode called Sleepytime is brilliant. As is Takeaway and Sticky Gekko. YANBU at all.

Caesious · 25/11/2021 20:49

@steff13 we love that one too. Coconuts have water in them!

AragornsGirl · 25/11/2021 21:05

We love Bluey. My daughter requested a Bluey cake for her birthday. Grannies and Magic Asparagus are our favourite episodes!

To love watching Bluey
KylieKangaroo · 25/11/2021 21:19

I love what I've seen, the one where the Dad was pretending to be pregnant had my 5 year old in stitches!
