AIBU to be increasingly frustrated by inefficiency?

Don’t know if it’s my age, but the last few months every interaction I have with a company seems fraught with difficulty; call handlers who promise they’ll do something or send something, but but never do. Today’s latest is local (council run) theatre where I booked tickets for a panto and today after two months have decided to ask if I still want them as the payment didn’t go through! Yes I do want them, they sent me e tickets but now say they shouldn’t have. If I want to speak to the Box Office I have to use the premium line and wait in a long queue, then get cut off. Everything just seems such a battle and it seems to be getting worse.it can’t all be covid surely, most places opened up in the Summer round here. Just a rant...
