Not one but TWO owl encounters tonight !

I saw a barn owl tonight on my way home at 2am.
Now there's a tawny owl twit twooing in the garden. Can't see it but it's very vocal

I love owls and any owly activity makes my night

I’m so jealous! I’ve never seen an owl in the wild, only seen some that a charity brings into my town centre for some reason every few months. Looking for money I think! I’d love to see one just flying about.

There's one around here too that i often hear at night, love it!

We also have some sort of squawker (does about 4 short sharp squeaks in a row then repeat etc) though i haven't managed to work out what it is... this blurry figure is the closest i've got to finding out so far...
