To not ask for sponsors?

My 3 year old is at nursery and ever since starting in September has been off more day than in due to being ill. When he's unwell he faints or takes seizures due to high temperature....

He's been off all last week and this week as we had a hospital stay over the weekend and there expected to do a sponsored walk for Christmas, as he's going to be off and we've had so much going on I haven't had a chance to ask any family to sponsor him.

Is it unreasonable if he didn't do the walk to not raise funds?

If you can afford it just send him in with £5 and forget about it.

Is the sponsored walk with nursery? If so I would let him do it if he’s well enough and just send a fiver in

Not unreasonable at all. You have a lot going on.
Hope he's ok!

He isn't going to nursery for the next few days as still not 100%.. I wasn't sure how it stood if he missed the walk does he still need to raise money

Why would you raise sponsorship money for an event he's not doing? If it's for a good cause and you can afford it then send a donation in, otherwise don't stress about it.

Sorry I feel so stupid 😂 only child and first experience with sponsors etc I wasn't sure if he still had to raise money as he attends the nursery and the money goes towards toys for Christmas (I've no problem hanging a donation in btw)
