Aibu to think that literally everyone in my family takes me for a c**t?
As a single parent and full time carer of my 23 year autistic son, who recently had his first psychotic episode, not one of my ‘so called family members’ were there to support me or help me - as usual, I have never known, or had any support system. My middle Son who is 20, has pots and Ehlers Danlos syndrome, and then I’ve got my 8 year old who has suspected adhd. My mother is the first to moan that I don’t visit often enough, which is a 3 hour round journey, but the last time she visited me was when my youngest was newborn … that was 8 years ago. Yet she can drop everything for her partner and travel a 4 hour round journey to go to see his family. My Brother never bothers visiting anyone, and none of us have seen him for about 10 years, but yet he never gets moaned at by our mother. It’s as if I’m the only one who can travel to any of them, or do anything!
