does your partner ever tell you "you are a good kisser" or do no other couples really say this?

I was with my latest boyfriend the other day and he said this to me and I thought it was very romantic! but then It occurs to me that it is not something you hear said a lot in relationshipsSad
maybe cos most adults(specially men) like to move straight to sex!
IMO more couple should say this to each other it made me v happy.
does did your partners/DH ever tell you this?

this was not meant to be a humblebrag BTW LOL!

Stompythedinosaur · 21/11/2021 10:19

Compliments are nice, I suppose, but I'd rather be complimented on something a bit more tangible.

35daystogo · 21/11/2021 10:29

@Stompythedinosaur fair enough I thought it was sweet and tangible enough to me!

SheWoreYellow · 21/11/2021 10:32

Yes, at the beginning. Smile

gogohm · 21/11/2021 10:41

Dp does, but he's appreciative of everything Grin

35daystogo · 21/11/2021 10:52

@gogohm aww I'm glad to hear it

35daystogo · 21/11/2021 11:07

@SheWoreYellow Smile hope he remembers to say it again soon!

wizzywig · 21/11/2021 11:09

I tell my husband he's the best kisser ever and we've been married years

maras2 · 21/11/2021 11:12

After a good snog, DH quite often says 'I love your kisses', which is quite sweet as we've been snogging etc. for over 50 years. Smile

Branleuse · 21/11/2021 11:12

Normal

Purplecatshopaholic · 21/11/2021 11:13

Yes, we have both said it to each other - ‘cos it’s true, lol

35daystogo · 21/11/2021 11:23

@Purplecatshopaholic that is so lovely and cute!
wish I could say the same to mine.

35daystogo · 21/11/2021 11:35

@wizzywig that is so nice. I don't know what to say

Unicornsanctuary · 21/11/2021 11:56

Being a good kisser is about as tangible a skill as I can think of….. you just enjoy the compliment and the snogging OP and how lovely these stories are!

Luredbyapomegranate · 21/11/2021 12:04

Adorable.

Marvellousmadness · 21/11/2021 12:14

He is stating a fact.
Hardly romantic.
Grin

PlanDeRaccordement · 21/11/2021 12:18

It’s a line to keep you kissing so that maybe he can get to the main event.

Luredbyapomegranate · 21/11/2021 12:29

You cynical thing you..
imisscashmere · 21/11/2021 12:43

I tell DH this, and that I love kissing him. It’s kind of novel for me though- I didn’t like kissing very much before I met him.

Keepitonthedownlow · 21/11/2021 12:51

Sounds normal to me

35daystogo · 21/11/2021 12:59

@PlanDeRaccordement he had better mean it cos its true! but if not it so works!Wink still I like a man who knows just what to say

Courtier · 21/11/2021 13:16

When we first got together yes we've said this to eachother. You're overthinking a simple compliment.

Angrymum22 · 22/11/2021 11:21

After 30 years together DH still complements me on kissing🤣. He always comments when I’m dressed up to go out, I can look very scruffy in my lounging gear.
Unfortunately he is the worst passenger when I’m driving.
He makes a point of complementing my culinary skills which compensated for my lack of tidiness and my disinvest in all things housewify.
