(Posting here for traffic)

I haven't bought a hairdryer for a gazillion years but mine is on its last legs and there's so many on the market, I haven't a clue what to go for!

I have very long, very fine hair if that helps!

Parlux. Mine's going strong 10 years on.

I have a dyson, I bloody love it! But it is ££££ (I got it as a gift). I have very thick hair that takes an age to dry usually and the dyson is SO much quicker and it feels like my hair stays “fresher” for longer and doesn’t need washing as much. No idea why but it definitely seems this way!!

I love the Dyson one, had it nearly 4 years now.

I have a Parlux and I love it.

I’ve always wanted a Parlux, but a bought a Diva for £40 from Sally’s 8 years and it’s still going strong.

The only problem is the mesh filter cover came loose a year ago but I sellotaped it back together. It’s a pain when the filter sucks your hair in to it.

I'm a qualified hair stylist, I use Parlux. If you want something cheaper then the "Diva" range you can get at Sally's is very good for the price point!

Parlux 3200 - but get the one that comes with the nozzles, they make such a difference to giving you a smooth BD

I also have a Dyson, and I just got the new flyaway attachment, which is genius. I have very thick hair and find it better than my old Parluxes.

...and if anyone's looking for an extra long lead this one is great: BaByliss Speed Pro 2200 Hair Dryer.

I have the Dyson Airwrap - best investment in a long time! It's a blow dryer, straightener, curler all in one. My hair is so healthy now, never have received so many compliments.

And the best part - it's only 15 minutes to dry and style. Looks like a professional blow out once you get the hand of it.

I have a parlux and it's been going for years, incredible product.

I am intrigued by the dyson products though. One of these days.

Womblesmurf · 20/11/2021 20:31

Thank you everyone! The Dyson is unfortunately out of my price range but I'll have a look at the Parkin Smile
