Social Care - Children's & Families Assessment

Not sure where to post this but posting for traffic.
This week there was a Team around the family meeting that involved Nursery, Health Visiting service and a Chair from Social Care in our local authority. The Chair was appalled by what I was telling her with respect to my ex partner, the court process, and the domestic abuse and stalking, she was horrified to learn that my daughter was subject to physical abuse by her father.
Today I received a call from Social Care to say that they will be conducting a Children's & Families assessment as the Chair from the TAF had contacted them and basically said this wasn't good enough and whilst the Court overrides everything, that Social Care can still support me.
Is this a good thing?
There are two social workers visiting me next week and then they will go and visit DD at Nursery and then at home.
I had a C&F in the former local authority, child protection were going to do a section 47 but because I fled they did a C&F assessment, however in this assessment they spoke with the Father, in this assessment we will above to have they won't speak with him..
Will this be a good thing for us?
The Local Authority have agreed that DD is at risk and I am doing all I can to safeguard her but I am also at risk.

It is a good thing, I've had lads of support over the last year around leaving my ex. My kids are in therapy for trauma and SS were able o bump them up the waiting list.

They really are there to support you through a shit time, not to blame you for it.

Well I'm in breach of a court order currently as I stopped taking my daughter to supervised contact due to stalking and harassment from him and also due to a number of safeguarding issues taking place at the contact centre.. Social care have said they fully support my decision and will hope to have this assessment undertaken before the court order enforcement hearing.. The attendees at the team are the family said DD needs trauma therapy but because of her age there's no services out there available for her. Do you think this will be taken seriously by the court?
