Year 7 Homework/home learning help

Steeringtherightcourse · 19/11/2021 09:05

Looking for some recommendations of workbooks to help with Year 7 maths and science? My DD is struggling with some aspects of this and we've no clue where to start to support. Ideally wanted a book that does a review of each topic as well as questions. I've had a quick look but there are so many options thought I'd see if anyone could recommend something that worked well for them Smile

CGP are pretty good - I think they do KS3 books.

If there are specific areas that she is having problems with, the BBC bitesize website is useful.

I would contact the teachers and ask them what they recommend

Ask, I know our school recommend the CGP guides & sell them for the reduced price of £3. Oak academy have some good video lessons too, we used them it introduce dc2(10) to algebra while we were preparing him for his 11+, he found them easy to follow.

BBC bitesize is actually pretty good if you know what topics you need to.cover
