Nice and shallow thread to ask for any interesting people you follow on instagram?

Britney Spears is one of mine as I find it fascinating to see what she is up to and hopefully see her transition into real life.

I also like psychology follows, Kimberley Wilson is a good one. She was on bake off and had her on book about food for the brain. Often does lives with a feature topic.

Anyone else want to share?

I like thelongmum for general life stuff, she's funny and feels like following a friend. Erica Davies does great stories on Fridays and Sundays, good follow for home/fashion/lifestyle. I love Sali Hughes for beauty, Alice du Parcq for fragrance and Rosie Birkett for food.

Francis Bourgeois, the guy with a passion for trains. He’s become well known through TikTok but his Instagram account is worth a follow for his enthusiasm of all things trains.

I love brunch with Babs. It’s this lady who gives lots of tips on life and housekeeping. What I love is she is so warm and seems kind - she starts lots of her advice with ‘in case your mother never told you’ or ‘did your mother tell you’ and that’s really touching to me. There’s lots of things people just assume you know/your mother will have taught you.

This is one of my favourite accounts. It's just so joyful.

This is a shame - I know my friend with chronic illness (diabetes, POTS, Crohn's - the unholy trinity, as she calls them) has managed to find some amazing accounts talking about the experience, @thechronicnotebook and the #chronicillness hashtag are both recommended. (Of course if you don't fancy going back that's fair enough, but there are definitely some amazing creators out there!)
Lunaballoon · 17/11/2021 13:15

I like Felicity Cloake (food writer on The Guardian). Most of her posts feature her out and about with her little dog Wilf. She seems an all-round lovely person!

Samanabanana · 17/11/2021 13:16

Notsosmugnow for hilarious and on point reels!

NarNooNarNoo · 17/11/2021 16:37

Thehomeedit which makes me want to change and sort out everything in my house
Thebirdspapaya body confidence

Senaruna - paper quilling art

These are not all ‘people’ I realise, most people I follow are connected to hobbies/interests I have such as home reno, crochet, nail art etc!

ColinTheKoala · 17/11/2021 16:43

I follow a couple of red squirrel accounts for cute pictures and videos! For example Karen Miller Photography.

Also Kelly Louise Killjoy for her "Nordic class" videos.

I also started following Juergen off Bakeoff last night.

MrsVeryTired · 17/11/2021 16:54

Danae Mercer, a model/influencer who exposes how "fake" most pics in IG are, she's fab

Brady Oliviera, he's hunky and he rescues dogs, whats not to like? Grin

Gosh I would give it another go. Those are the most vacuous influencers ever! Full of ads and fake nonsense.
Mogloveseggs · 17/11/2021 17:10

The most useful one to me is following my county's hashtag. It's thrown up all sorts of walks, cafes and generally lovely places to visit that I didn't know about!

NarNooNarNoo · 17/11/2021 17:19

@Mogloveseggs actually yes same I follow my local area and have discovered lots of places I had no idea about, definitely helps me feel more connected to what’s going on locally

Simonjt · 17/11/2021 17:28

rebatirnotredamedeparis

It’s an account to document the repair of Notre dame. It’s all in french so I haven’t got a clue what the captions say but it’s interesting to see what’s going on.
