Shall I send my 2 year old to nursery

I have a 2 and a half year old who usually attends nursery for 2 hours everyday, I also have 6 week old baby. I am worried about him getting RSV or bronchitis as it seems really bad this winter. My 2 year old hasn’t attended nursery since my 6 week old has been born as I have been nursery about them both getting sick with RSV. My 2 year old is starting to get bored at home now and I am feeling bad, I feel like I’m spiting my 2 year old keeping her home but then spiting my newborn if I send her to school as he may become sick all for just 2 hours in nursery.

Send your toddler to nursery. I am due in a few weeks and plan on keeping my toddlers routine as easy as normal as possible so the change isn’t as shocking.

How long do you intend on keeping your toddler at home to protect your newborn?

Yes you should send him in and let them develop their immune systems.

I do understand though. RSV put my baby in hospital. She has a heart condition so I was scared of her and her brother catching bugs but as her specialist said 'don't stop her living her life'
