AIBU to ask what you do on a Saturday night if you have tweens/young teens?

OH and I seem to spend all our Sat nights infront of the TV. DD (12) is usually on call to her friends/doing homework. We do watch TV together and do a few other activities but she's pretty independentl. It doesn't bother me that we don't go out as we're busy during the week and weekend daytimes. OH is the sort of person who likes to be out and I would like to go out on a Sat night but apart from going for a meal/drinks, what else is there to do as a family? DD would happily stay at home on her own but I feel guilty for leaving her on her own

DD is 12, DS is 10. We usually have a nice meal and watch a film together, which the kids enjoy. Sometimes we play a board game instead ( usually Monopoly). We rarely go out on a Saturday night but have friends over for dinner/ bbq, or visit friends about once a month.

We are all quite busy during the week, quite often go out on Friday evenings ( climbing wall, swimming, dinner), and often during the day on Saturday and so we have no inclination whatsoever to go out to a busy restaurant or bar.

We are pretty similar to you although sometimes we play a board game. I guess other options are bowling, or cinema.

We go out most Saturday nights. Teen babysits for tween and if she’s out then I get a babysitter

Bowling
Cinema

We often go out early sat nights for bowling with our 5 year old then a meal before or after. If she was older as your DC would maybe would consider the cinema. We tend to go out about 5/6pm then home by 9.

We stay in and watch TV - strictly at the moment!

Can’t imagine my dd out with me of a Saturday evening

I think generally you either have people over, or you go out and your kids stay home with a babysitter. Apart from going out for dinner with your DC, or to the cinema/theatre, I can't think of many Saturday nights out which would be suitable for all of you.

Escape rooms?

We don’t go out very often at night, but if we were going out as a family it would probably be;
Pizza place
Nando’s
Pub meal
Cinema

Usually we make a curry at home and watch a film together.
