My DS loves trains, cars, food, anything he could role play at that age

BernadetteRostankowskiWolowitz · 13/11/2021 22:35

Noisy things.

My Ds is almost 2 he loves a jigsaw and anything he can draw/paint with.

A magnet shape set so they can build things, helps with concentration (play with it for ages giving parents a break!)

Thank you folks. Lots of good ideas!

You'll never go wrong with duplo

Skysblue · 13/11/2021 23:21

Vehicles - especially tractors - or duplo

We recently bought washable pens and paints for a friend's 2 yo for his birthday. What about a balance bike also? I've seen Aldi have some really affordable ones available atm.

I love this brand for that age

Current faves of my 23 months old are vehicles he can open the doors to and that make noise, re usable sticker books (his have to be about trucks!), play doh, kinetic sand and a digger and a toy garage

Thank you everyone!

Saw a 2 year old recently with skittles. They were transparent and full of different colour glitter and the ball made a musical sound as it rolled towards them. He loved it..putting them back up a million times and having another go. I thought l will buy that for the next 2vyear old.
Also l8dl/ Aldi have lovely wooden toys which are all great for that age.
