Help - dark painted living room walls

I am about to buy some dark grey paint for my living room and started to read reviews about b&q paint. It says it marks really easily and it's a nightmare. I remember a friend telling me similar about Farrow and Ball many moons ago (but I don't think it was a dark colour) Are all dark paints like that or just certain brands?

DH is a painter & decorator & he hates both B&Q & F&B, he always sticks with Dulux as it's better quality, covers better & goes further

I think it might depend on the finish. If it's a Matt finish then I'd stick with Dulux.

F&B modern emulsion is wipeable, I'd use that for heavy traffic areas.

I love you all. Thank you. I'll stick with Dulux. X

Yes I would agree F&B is not worth the money, although no doubt people will be on soon to tell you how fabulous it is. Many professional decorators wouldn't recommend it either as per @RockinHorseShit DH.

I also like Dulux (only their sheen type stuff though) but when I came to paint my living room recently they didn't have the colour I wanted. I ended up using Dunelms own brand paint, and while it wasn't quite as matt as I would have liked, it did the job in two coats and has been scuff free so far. I have Dulux matt in the hallway and it's full of marks.

Another vote for Dulux. Get the trade quality stuff from Brewers

I have dulux heritage paint in my living room, it's lovely and velvety and doesn't mark easily. I went for the Oxford Blue so very dark and I love it.
