To buy the sofa now…?

I know Black Friday is around the corner, and even a 10% discount would mean a saving of £100+, but I’m buying it from Made.com. It’s currently at 6-8 weeks delivery and I’m worried if I wait that I’ll end up wait 14-16 weeks (like some pieces on their website).

Do I bite the bullet and buy it now?

YABU - wait, save the money!
YANBU - buy the sofa, it might not even be included in their offers…

Depends how urgently you need it. If its ASAP then go ahead. Some you win, some you lose... You don't want to risk it becoming unavailable too.

Only you know how much you need it, do you have something to sit on atm?

I think a lot of furniture places are having quite a bit of trouble with manufacturing and delivery at the moment so I would not assume that it would be delivered on time if you ordered now. And that would be very annoying if you then saw it cheaper later :)

If you can afford a £1k sofa then you can stand to lose £100 if you need it in time for Christmas.

You probably wouldn’t get it in time for Christmas even if you ordered now. For the sake of a week or two I’d wait.

We were quoted 16 weeks delivery fo ours but it's coming tomorrow at 10 weeks

I'd wait if you aren't in a rush. My Made sofa was listed as express delivery (dispatch within three days). I've been waiting a month and it's not being shipped until next week.

I gave in and bought it… didn’t want it to run out of stock and push me back to 18 week delivery! Figured that I’ve just give the made.com website a swerve on Black Friday, just in case it breaks my heart.
