Lost spare car key

Posting here for traffic. Can't find spare car key ANYWHERE. It's been missing for about 2 years. Have car on PCP so need to return next year and want to avoid the cost of this missing item. I've no idea how much a lost car key would cost even but think it's a lot.

Is there any cheaper way to replace this spare key in the mean time??

I can tell you where ours was when it disappeared for ages - in DH's golf bag. I looked at replacing it and it was very expensive, unfortunately. Our only garage key is currently inside our locked garage, which will cost the callout charge of a locksmith to retrieve, if that makes you feel better.

Buy one on eBay and don't say anything when you give it back

Don't worry about it being connected to the car just literally buy one and use the key that works when you give it back
