Not feeling pregnant at 16 weeks

I'm really happy that the crushing tiredness and nausea of the first trimester has gone but now I don't have any symptoms at all. I really don't feel pregnant. I have no bump, I can't feel any movements (which I think is normal at this stage) and if it weren't for the fact that I'd seen baby on my 12 week scan I would be sceptical that there was one in there at all!

Is this normal? I do feel particularly anxious about this pregnancy as if I'm waiting for something to go wrong. Is this normal at this stage? I do have a midwives appointment next week where hopefully they'll use a Doppler to listen to the heart so maybe that will reassure me.

All completely normal.

I think a lot of mothers will have felt the way you do during their pregnancies.

Yes completely normal. I think it's a bit of a shock if you've had a first trimester where you have felt pretty yuck! I felt the first flutters at about 18 weeks with both my pregnancies so hopefully won't be long before you get to feel the same 😊

Yeah, normal, don't worry. I could see movement (20 weeks) before I felt it (22 weeks)

I'd thought I was feeling movement at 16 weeks but then I had an extra scan at 18 weeks and she was going bananas in there kicking like mad, couldn't feel a thing!

Don't worry.
I had no symptoms all the way through. No sickness, no pain, no heart burn, no cravings etc...
whilst my SIL had a terrible pregnancy with sickness and pain. Which I didn't envy at all! But it also worried me sometimes like you, so I booked a couple of private scans in between the NHS ones just so I could have peace of mind.

There's only 5 weeks between mine and my SIL DC so we were pregnant together and we had the complete opposite pregnancy experiences.
I had a DS and she had a DD!

You might be having a boy?!

I was the same with my third, barely any symptoms and they went altogether by about 14 weeks, I was so relieved to see her again at the 20 week scan!
