to ask you to help me choose some towels?

I’m entirely unreasonable I know but I’m unwell, children only just recovered and I’m utterly exhausted.

The only light point is I’ve had my thoroughly grufty bathroom renovated and I need to get some accessories and TOWELS!

But what colour? Hot pink? Yellow? White? Colours for each person?

What accessories do I need? I’ve put aside some money to get some really nice stuff so go wild if you like home decor like I do.

I’m entirely abusing AIBU but I don’t care. Also NC as the bathroom is outing.

Also, should I get a blind? A plant?

I would get white towels; something very fluffy

White towels. Grey at an absolute push.

Accessories, I have similar colours and got an eclectic mix of paintings and prints for the non-tiled walls. Sea/beach stuff like a anatomical drawing of a crab type of thing. Otherwise keep it minimal and buy little things you really like later.

Wow love it! I would get black towels for that bathroom.

White towels (although I have grey for my ds15 to use as he ruins white towels!) then neutral shades for accessories (or even better a plant)

Another vote for white and fluffy. Having said that, I would get every bright colour under the sun and alternate. Depends what you're going for?

I got mine heavily reduced from the white company and they've been great.

I did think white but I have two boys who basically seem to bathe in dirt. Also a husband - will lovely white towels go minging really fast?

I have grey now and they’re a bit blah aren’t they? Great fir stains though 🤔

Get vibrant colours - hot pink or really vibrant yellow or grass green, or one colour for each person. Really thick and fluffy. Make it a really happy bathroom.

Plants make everything better. A blind if the glass is not frosted, otherwise just plants. Some plants love steamy bathrooms.

Definitely white towels. I've got a roman blind in my bathroom window and it looks fab.

Take a photo and edit it in your phone by drawing a rectangle of all the colours you are thinking and see which work. Plants are a must though

You could go navy. Practical and not to crazy; I wouldn't add more colours as the tiles (which are lovely) are pretty bright.

Also can recommend Asda for towels. Their better range; not the super budget one. Got some for when i gave birth (I'm also fat and wanted a massive towel). 8 years on they're still lovely and thick.

Thank you for the compliments - I’m very pleased with it. Absolutely not to everyone’s taste but I love it.
