AIBU to be irritated at irrelevant campaigns show-horning themselves into COP26

Climate change is a massive, massive issue. It demands global attention. So why did I get a text from my union saying that they had marched at COP26 in solidarity? Why did a load of Scottish nationalists pile into the March last weekend? Why was the Palestinian flag flying? Trade unionism, Scottish nationalisim, Palestine are all issues that divide the UK public. We need to be able to unite in the MOST important cause facing the UK, and these little divisive protest groups are undermining the message.

I suppose some people think an event with the most senior people in the world is a good way to raise awareness of their cause, when realistically they really don't care.

Other people just like an excuse to act like superior twats.
