Found fleas on dog blitzed house and him all ok. 2 weeks later found 2 more on him gave him more flea stuff and sprayed my bed pillows quilt floor(just in case) etc... Went out aired it out slept in it all fine then noticed in smallprint the johnsdons can says don't spray human bedding.... Am I going to die of noxious fumes says leave half hour and air room so I did it will be fine won't it?

Should be fine - wouldn't do it if you had e.g. a baby on there, but it should be okay now it's dry and well aired!

I always do my mattress, but with the quilt and pillowcases etc you're better just changing them every 2 days (and washing at at least 60). Which is a massive faff I know, but it takes eggs about 2 days to hatch - so that way you never get new larvae hatching on your bed from eggs that have either fallen off your dog there, or elsewhere and you've transferred them to your bed.

Fleas are such a pain in the arse to get rid of - we're just at the back end of it now, thanks to our neighbours' nosy cat and us forgetting to get our cats' last flea treatment. It's felt like a non-stop cycle of washing, changing bedding, hoovering, spraying, more hoovering... it does take a few months to completely clear so don't panic. Hoover as much as you can, keep changing bedding/washing blankets or dog beds, and you'll get there!
