To have expected my refund by now

I signed up for class which was canceled as the teacher couldn't fill the places.

She emailed me last week telling me this and saying she's moved me to the next class (next year) and if this isn't suitable she'll send a full refund.

I responded in less than 2 minutes to that email saying I wasn't able to make the new date and I needed a refund.

She hasn't replied or given the refund!!

It's hundreds of pounds and I'm stressing a bit ... is it U to have expected a refund by now?!

She doesn't want to give the money back or she hasn't got it.

If its small business its very easy to give a refund.

Remind her again, tag her on social media if she still doesn't reply. Recall the funds if you paid by credit card.

When last week would help. Refunds take 3 to 5 working days on average to process. However I would call to confirm if it has been issued.

I'd give it 10 working days - that's what refunds always seem to say to me anyway.

How did you pay?

doadeer · 08/11/2021 17:58

Just remind her. Please don't go on social media right away, lots of small businesses are really struggling. Give her the benefit of the doubt but you are completely entitled to chase on the refund.

Hankunamatata · 08/11/2021 17:59

Is there a phone number?

DriftingPlateTectonic · 08/11/2021 21:36

Yanbu. I'm still waiting for a refund that I requested on 16th October (similar circumstances). Chasing every few days and getting more and more infuriated.
