Private autism assessment

Has anyone sought this? How much does it cost? How long is the wait? Is it worth it?

I had mine with the ADHD consultancy in London (I needed an autism and adhd assessment). Was £1000, waited a couple of months, which for me was worth it compared to the 2+ years I'd be waiting for an adult autism assessment on the NHS in my area. I think it was only £700 for the autism assessment on its own.

We saw Daphne Keen in London for our son, she was amazing. She’s very well respected and used to be the lead neurologist at St George’s Nhs hospital. If you google Daphne Keen paediatrician her website will come up. We paid £950 in 2016.
