Worried son is ill

I'm just looking for advice if anyone can help. Sorry for gatecrashing an unrelated thread, i'm posting here for traffic.

I know there are a lot of bugs going around at the moment but I feel it's getting bloody ridiculous in my household right now, 4 illnesses have done the rounds within 6 weeks.
i'm really worried about my DS7 he is never unwell, ever, and he has been the 1 to start with the illnesses before we all catch them.

Yesterday he woke up with one eye swollen underneath, he went to school and the swelling had gone down when he returned. Then an hr after he returned from school his other eye started swelling out of nowhere, he was really upset saying it was stinging like crazy, i washed it with cooled boiled water and gave him antihistamines the swelling went down but all day today his eyes still look very red and like he had just woken up he just doesn't look right. He went to bed complaining of a sore tummy and that he was feeling sick, 3hrs later he has woken up and been sick all over his bed.

For a child who is never ill, i'm just really worried, could these symptoms be related or just coincidence? It seems to be 1 thing after another.

Does he need checked or do I just need to ride out yet another bug. I'm just on disbelief that he could have picked up yet another bug, we are clean people I promise, he is usually very clean conscious himself .

It could just be that he hadn't had time to recover from one bug before he is exposed to another. When he's feeling a bit better I'd give him a multivitamin & mineral each day during the winter at least.

Hope he feels a bit better soon.

He could have covid. It's is common in children to have itchy/red swollen eyes sometimes leading to conjunctivitis and vomiting or diarrhoea. I work with covid children and they often don't have any respiratory symptoms at all, so might be worth just getting a pcr test to be sure.
