To keep presents in original packaging

Let's say you order something online, you could have it addresed to the recipient instead of you, but sent to the place you're unwrapping presents. I know it's nice to wrap things in nice paper, but I figured it would be more environmentally friendly and equally exciting.

You can buy biodregradable wrapping paper? Or what about using cloths or fat quarters to wrap it up in? It does the job of wrapping it up & it can be used again next year

Could be awkward if the invoice is included in the parcel. Also you would have no idea if an item is broken or the wrong one had been sent until they unwrapped it.

I received a package containing a present for my mum just being seeing this.

I opened it to check the item was correct and in good condition. I will re-wrap it in nice paper for under the tree. We recycle all our wrapping paper, and deliberately don't buy the foil/metallic paper, as that's harder to recycle.
