Another sickness bug?

My 3.5 year old had a vomiting bug a few weeks ago and I’ve just had a phone call from nursery asking to pick him up as he’s been sick and saying his tummy hurts!
It can’t be another one so soon surely?!

Of course it can, there’s loads of different gastro viruses going round. Bad luck to catch two in quick succession, but not unusual really.

Good luck, hope he’s feeling better soon

Toddlers throw up and get tummy aches for all sorts of reasons - fever, constipation, Covid, bacterial infections, other viruses, congestion, over-eating, over-excitement...

See how he is when you get him home and check for other symptoms, especially a fever. It would be really unlucky (but not impossible) to pick up another tummy bug so soon.

Worth a covid test as this often presents as vomiting and diarrhoea in little ones.
