Bad breath date

Okay...I met a man. We have had 2 dates. We get on very well and I do find him attractive BUT I have noticed he has bad breath!!
Aibu to just pull out of it??! I don't think I would have the balls to tell him!!

Offer him a mint and then see if he has taken the hint and sorted it out on the next date.

I keep having that - so off-putting. Why don’t they clean their teeth?! The last one I dated could have stripped the paint of a battleship at 20 yards.

If it’s awful, it’ll be tonsil stones. I couldn’t get past it. Ugh.

Dp had terrible breath when we first met. It was very off putting for me, I really bleddy liked him and didn't know what to do! I wasn't the type to just tell him! It was bad for the first 2-3 dates, we didn't kiss during those times but I could still smell it, but then it got better. I think his mum bad words with him about it 😅 I'm not sure what I would have done if she didn't. These days I'd just tell him though - together 9 years.

He does get it occasionally now but not sure why it was so bad when we first met! It was nothing to do with teeth cleaning, as he clearly brushed his teeth. I wonder if it was stomach acid affecting his breath as he had always suffered quite badly with that and has had stomach ulcers.

Yep. I get these (I keep VERY on top of it) and I can smell when someone else has them, it's so noticeable
