They have done as was suggested by the public and block parliament roads

They are protesting against fuel poverty and state 8500 die each year due to fuel poverty

Are they being unreasonable blocking MPs and should they continue to until something is done?

I don’t necessarily agree with it but It’s better than blocking the M25 and disrupting the lives of normal people.
The MPs are the ones who need to be disrupted to force change, the general public can’t do anything.

I think they should be in jail. They've broken injunctions and been repeatedly arrested - custody is fitting

I would rather they inconvenience people who can actually help achieve their aim than regular people just trying to get on with their lives.

I thought their protest was that the government should insulate everyone's homes. I hadn't heard any mention of concern about fuel poverty from them.

I thought their aim was to get the Government to insulate homes, hence their name Insulate Britain. There has been no mention of them protesting against fuel poverty. Have they suddenly changed aims?
As it is, I'm utterly pissed off with them stopping people going about their business and have no support for them whatsoever.

I do not support them at all. They are selfish and dangerous. I am particularly angry with their refusal to let an ambulance through and then trying to justify their actions.

They're idiots and I don't support them blocking roads because it affects ordinary people who actually have no say in what our governments do. If they're now blocking roads only MPs use, I have no problems with that, but I still think they're t**ts.

This, on the last thread I said as much as they should be blocking Parliament Street and Parliament Square instead of regular working people on the M25 and other motorways, but yes, I still think they're twats as well.

Bit ironic the photo of them glued to the road, blocking the LGV carrying insulation from getting through as well, had a giggle at that.

All social housing is insulated already isn't it?

The new builds going up in my part of the world also have solar panels.

I've seen a few of them being interviewed and it all seems very vague.

I bet the spokesperson twat who hasn't got insulated housing just wants it done for free and has taken it too far now 😂

in fact the majority did not vote tory. ...its our voting system that got them in.

Imagine if they invested all this time and energy into innovative projects that could actually make a difference rather than illegally inconveniencing others and waiting for them to do something?

Glad they did Parliament Sq and not the roads ordinary folks use. They were targeting the wrong people.

Only problem, frontbencher MPs in limos might be inconvenienced, backbenchers can just walk or take the tube to work.

So they want the Government to pay for aims ! 1and 2 and where do they think the money is coming from. They are totally deluded

I was answering your question. And I think my post was quite clear.

But I’m assuming like the protesters your aim is less about getting answers to your question or seeing what it will achieve and more about causing drama in the hopes that it will blow up and draw attention to the issue.
