To ask does the snogging ever tend to drop off in your relationships?

I was chatting with a friend and they mentioned they tend to stop extended kissing sessions once they are comfortable as couple, living together etc. I could not let it drop off in my relationships! Does anyone else?

Yup, used to love good snogs and now they are infrequent, more likely to have lots of little kisses.

Bouncebacker · 03/11/2021 21:28

Been snogging the same guy since 2003

Everythingmagnolia · 03/11/2021 21:28

We've been married for 14 years and still snog every day and always at bedtime.

AnneLovesGilbert · 03/11/2021 21:30

Still a big fan here. Tailed off my with my ex when I realised I couldn’t stand him. Never stopped kissing DH, in and out of shagging contexts.

Ragwort · 03/11/2021 21:32

No snogging here after 34 years of marriage Grin.

Lavender24 · 03/11/2021 21:34

Together four tests and we still do it but mostly during foreplay. I only like it for about ten seconds though 😂 I don't really like having someone in my face for too long, it weirds me out.

arethereanyleftatall · 03/11/2021 21:37

I'm just dating now, (kids and marriage tshirt got and not happening again), and love snogging, so if it ever did tail off, I'd just stop dating that one and move on to another.

DriftingBlue · 03/11/2021 21:38

Well yeah, the snogging sessions that last for hours and hours tend to shorten once the relationship gets serious enough that sex gets introduced. Not to mention that once you have kids you don’t really have time to spend six hours just kissing.we still kiss every day, but not the full on sessions that happen in the beginning of a relationship.

Holothane · 03/11/2021 21:40

Never snogged.

Thatsplentyjack · 03/11/2021 21:41

Aw God I hate the word snog. It reminds me of the big slobbery washing machine kissing that I was unfortunate enough to experience once too often as a teenager 🤢.

Mochyroad82 · 03/11/2021 21:43

@Holothane what nobody? never?

Saxineno · 03/11/2021 21:44

Snogging is foreplay here

thunderandsunshine01 · 03/11/2021 21:44

Yeah been together about 4/5 years and tend to find if we are snogging the OH is assuming it’s about to lead elsewhere Grin

Mochyroad82 · 03/11/2021 21:47

@arethereanyleftatall yes! Grin
no snogging is a dealbreaker for me too!
I need a bit of tongue action!Wink

Lol...we don't snog as often as I like as I always want it to lead to sex and struggle to just snog for kissings sake.

RunningScarabbed · 03/11/2021 22:01

I think it's gross. Never really got the appeal of a tongue in my mouth. Yuck.

I can tolerate a very little of it once things are already 'going', but it's not something I want to do just on its own.

x2boys · 03/11/2021 22:05

Snogging means sex here ,but nearly 17 years together ,gone are the days we were told to get a room🤣

Holothane · 03/11/2021 22:12

No never really liked it too much saliva. So not a turn on for me ever.

BrilliantBetty · 03/11/2021 22:14

Not a fan.
Very rarely snog. If we do it's as part of sex. I'd rather it was left out all together.

We kiss on the lips (no tongue) every day though. And hug.

Skysblue · 03/11/2021 22:16

It’s occasionally part of sex here but DH has no interest in kisses anymore it seems 😭

x2boys · 03/11/2021 22:17

Yes we do that and also say I love you ,too.
Mochyroad82 · 03/11/2021 22:20

@Skysblue I'm sorrySad
perhaps he needs reminding how good it can be...Wink

brambleon · 03/11/2021 22:23

We kiss everyday, and say I love you. But don’t snog much anymore but that’s due to having 2 young DC and barely any time alone.

Snowisfallinghere · 03/11/2021 22:23

I agree and I just don't see the appeal of it anymore, outside of passionate foreplay. I have a happy marriage and enough intimacy... so yeah, I think YABU if you think that a relationship without saliva swapping can't be a happy one Grin
