To ask about 'naice ham?'

Hi , I've been on mumsnet a fair few years now, and regularly see posters proving themselves to be genuine by saying they know about 'naice ham' and I often see it referred to across many of the topics.

But it's annoying me now so would anyone please explain what it's all about. Thanks!

Someone found a shopping list once and the author had written 'nice ham', so it's been a running joke.

Someone once found a shopping list with ‘naice ham’ written on it. It become a high point of hilarity for some posters, god knows why.

Naice being shorthand for twee middle England types

It's one of the old classic threads! A shopping list left in a trolley.

Personally not a patch on "tiny wanker" in the doctors.

It's hard to get naice ham these days.
