Almost 14 weeks and a bit achey and crampy unless resting

I'm a bit worried but don't want to overreact. For the last couple of days, unless I'm resting, I'm getting a bit achey and crampy in my lower abdomen.

Is this normal ? I think I had similar pain some days in my previous pregnancy. I'll ring EPU tomorrow if it doesn't go away.. any advice ?

Sorry for posting here, just did so for traffic.

Thank you in advance.

I remember having this one and off until around 20 weeks, and it being particularly bad at around 17 weeks while shopping in IKEA! Iassumed it was just everything stretching and growing.
I'd say just rest and let yourself put your feet up! If it's still really worrying then you can call epu tomorrow but I'd say it really is normal.

There is NO way I could manage a trip to IKEA ! I have to sit down constantly and can barely manage the local shop. I'm extremely fatigued, but I suffer from HG, so that would be why.

Thanks for the advice. I'll put my feet up as much as I can.

A fellow HG mum here! I found it happened more when I was dehydrated so try and drink a bit more if possible. Being dehydrated can bring on false labour that feel very much like early labour pains or period pains. Try to rest and eat what you can, I loved McDonald’s as I think I wanted the salt.

Ice lollys are epic as they taste the same coming back up

I had very bad aching from approx 6 weeks to i dont remember but no more than 16weeks, i think it's uterus growing pains!! Ring epu anyway to put your mind at rest.

I had the same around a month ago.

In my last pregnancy I remember around 12-13 weeks and again just before I had a scan at 16 weeks it was really painful. And then not really again..

Hope it's the same ! Can't help but worry right !

I'll ring tomorrow if it persists though.

I think from around 12 weeks is the time the uterus outgrows the pelvic area.. perhaps that's why it happens. Hopefully!
