Haven't been abroad for 3 years. 2 DCs age 11 and 8. 1 week off work from 17th December. Easy access to London airports. All double vaxxed. What should we book?!

Florida? You can get good temperatures, Universal and Disney do amazing Christmas displays and parades! Good flights and times, especially from London too. We've done it and loved it! Especially if they like Harry Potter - the Christmas displays there are out of this world.

Do you want to go somewhere warm or don’t you mind?
Tenerife and the other canaries will be warm.
Christmas markets fun if you want a Christmas atmosphere

We did New York one year with dc aged 10, 12 and 15. It was amazing. Over Christmas.

If you want something christmassy what about a German city? Like Berlin or Cologne? Loads to do with kids too.

May be stay in the UK and do your bit for climate change? Holidays abroad are not a right. It’s time we changed our attitude to it. We should feel ashamed if we take unnecessary flights. Sorry. I know this isn’t what you want to hear but it’s the truth. We are facing a catastrophic future if we don’t change our ways. Sacrificing our holidays abroad is an easy way to reduce our carbon.

Italy, as long as they don't red list us.
