My Dh and I are both desperate to leave our jobs. It’s in a industry that has been impacted by the pandemic in terms of stress and workload but guaranteed stability because of that. We agreed for my DH to change jobs first, pass his probation and then I start looking. However whilst helping him look I have found some jobs that sound amazing to me. Of course this would risk us both changing at the same time, and both of us potentially being unemployed if the job doesn’t fit. Is this a massive gamble that could leave us unable to pay our mortgage and bills. We would love to be in jobs where we would actually have the same days off .We we’re so fortunate through the pandemic that our jobs were never at risk, and whilst the pandemic isn’t over the thought of leaving that scares me but the jobs have became unbearable. Has anyone and their partner done this before.
