To detest people who push in on public transport?

I work in a city and there are people who push in the queue for the bus home. It drives me insane. Tonight I'd had enough of a woman who came and despite me clearly being in the queue she went and stood in front. The driver then told everyone to move up the stop so they did and this fucking ignorant piece of shit went right to the front of the queue. I wish I had said something but instead just gave her a few dirty looks. How are people so rude?

Wow, that's a lot of anger from someone who didn't say "Excuse me, I was here first" Grin

It is rude though, which is why I always say something on my way past them.

I suppose it depends on bus and the stop. Rural bus stop with one I frequent bus route, then there is usually a definite queue. Bus stop in a big city with lots of frequent routes stopping there - meh. People usually just flood on in that scenario.

Sorry for typos - one infrequent route that should say.

It's also rude when you are waiting at the spot you know the bus or train opens its doors and someone comes and stands really close to you to try to intimidate you to moving up so they can nab the best spot. It's good if it's raining a bit because you can put your umbrella up and take up more space.

Yes it's rude OP but there's no need to swear quite so much, what I assume is several hours after the event.

My policy is that if you aren’t going to bother standing up for yourself you deserve to lose your place.
