If you were a woman on a forum and a random man started a hate campaign about you, what would you do?
The man stalks her posts and posts things like her life is meaningless, she’s worthless and twists what she says to make it look like she’s selfish, uncaring etc.
She has no idea who the man is or why he is attacking her. She's quite timid and can't recall posting anything that would cause this reaction in him.
She has tried ignoring the man but the behaviour still continues. He has been banned by the forum owner for doing it but keeps coming back, so the forum owner has told her to put up with it or leave.
I don’t know how best to advise her and I’m worried about her. Seems harsh that her only options are to leave something she enjoys or put up with being abused by one man when she’s using it.
AIBU to think the site owner should be doing something about the man?
