Has anyone heard of any grants to help with the new wired smoke alarms instillation in Scotland?

Just that, by February we are all expected to have wired in smoke detectors installed by electricians with the cost being £500+
Does anyone know if there are any grants available for those one a lower income?

They dont need to be wired in and can be battery operated. They do need to be interlinked
